I forbindelse med den generelle markedsudvikling og den løbende sikkerhedsvurdering af e-Boks og Digital Post, kommer e-Boks straks i det nye år, 2021, til at udfase den sidste understøttelse af TLS-version 1.0 og 1.1, således at kun TLS-version 1.2 er understøttet. Dette betyder at klienter der skal kommunikere med e-Boks og Digital Post i produktion fra den 15. februar 2021 skal understøtte TLS-version 1.2. Tilsvarende vil ændringen bliver implementeret i ikke produktionsmiljøer den 25. januar 2021.

In connection with the general market development and the ongoing security assessment of e-Boks and Digital Post, e-Boks will immediately, in the new year 2021, phase out the last support of TLS version 1.0, and 1.1, which means only TLS version 1.2 is supported. This means that clients who are to communicate with e-Boks and Digital Post, from 25 January 2021 in non-production, and on 15 February 2021 in production, must support TLS version 1.2.
